Nice and motherly reaction of Esme! Good advice from Carlisle.

Now I understand how rare the term la tua cantante really is, if Carlisle has not heard it for so many years.

Esme would be a wonderful mother whether human or vampire. And knowing that she loves her children and will do whatever is necessary to support them is what family is all about.

Very Edward. And perfectly reasonable that Carlisle would not mention such a possibility to his family when he only wanted to promote compassion for humans. At least Edward was able to refrain and that is definitely a credit to Carlisle.

Liked it very much. Interesting to see how Carlisle met the Volturi.

Interesting. Before Carlisle's time. Would it have been discussed with him? Did it occur to him that Bella was Edward's singer? And Aro would have wanted to find out all he could before executing the vampire. Can't have everything Aro.

This was written very imaginatively, with a good amount of character development. My own personal theory is that the Cullens didn't discover the term until New Moon, but this was well-thought.
